I know I’m not supposed to hate, I even made an anti-hate post here a few days ago… but anti theist on IG really… I despise them. It’s not from a belief standpoint. I respect the user deconstructgod because their page has a purpose: shake believer’s faiths. They show YouTube videos that, admittedly don’t work, but attempt to shake faith.
It’s more of a personality issue. Their bio says “Religion, nationalism, and racism are the three biggest things stopping human progress. Change my mind.” For one, definitely wrong order, racism should be first. Second, I suppose the best way to promote atheism online is hating on religion and religious people and then hiding behind your little following of people who can’t confuse religion between religious people when someone dares to question you in a “I’m curious on why you think this.” (“Oh, well bad stuff has been done in the name of religion!” Give us an original point, Carl.) You want to make religion as uncommon as possible? Make people want to become atheist. Don’t push them away from it by hating on religion.

Stop hating a group of people for the actions of not all.
Yes, what’s happening in Gaza is bad. Yes, the Holocaust was bad. Yes, 9/11 was bad.
This doesn’t excuse discrimination.
After 9/11, Islamophobia spiked in the US. During the war in Gaza, anti-semitism is HUGE. Our biggest flaws as a society is we hate a group of people for the actions of a select few. Many hate gay and trans people because of awful things some of them do. Many hate Christianity because of the awful things some Christians do.
You want to hate the people doing those heinous actions? Fine.
Hate the illegal immigrant who let fentanyl kill dozens of children.
Hate the Nazis who ordered the Holocaust
Hate the Jews who ordered the genocide in Gaza.
Hate the Muslims who attacked America.
Hate the Christians who put other people down with the “excuse” of love when all they’re doing is insulting you.
Hate the LGBT people who call you bigoted because you don’t agree with some of their views.
Thats fine.
But don’t hate the single Mexican mother of 3 who entered this country illegally trying to get a better life.
Dont hate the 1942 German citizen who wasn’t for it but was powerless to stop it.
Dont hate the Jews who are also trying to survive the conflict in Israel.
Dont hate the Muslims who are trying to live their life according to the Qu’ran.
Dont hate the Christians who just want to follow Christ.
Dont hate the LGBT people who just want to love who they love.
You can disagree with them, 100%. But don’t hate them.
Im surprised it came to a point where this needed to be said.
The Bible says Love your neighbor. Even if you’re atheist/Muslim/any other belief, it’s still a good motto to live by.

^^^^^see the thing is even tho you’re not religious a sermon could still have something for you. like a good way to live, maybe some comfort, something. A sermon isn’t always just screaming “get saved.” (Though good churches should have an invitation for people who want to accept Jesus at the end).

But yeah don’t really think He’s on board with pride month anyways. He intended marriage to be man and woman and also it’s pride which is a sin (regardless of what it is, we’re taught to be humble.)
