Madam Pomfrey provides Harry with a beakerful of Skele-Gro to regrow the bones that Lockhart accidentally removed from Harry's arm. Later that night, in the hospital wing, Professor Dumbledore tells Professor McGonagall to summon Madam Pomfrey to tend to the Petrified Colin Creevey.

Discovered in chapter 14, Cornelius Fudge[]

Madam Pomfrey cares for all of the Petrified students in the hospital wing, including Hermione and Penelope Clearwater when they are attacked.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban[]

Discovered in chapter 21, Hermione's Secret[]

Madam Pomfrey tends to Ron, Harry and Hermione in the hospital wing after their ordeal in the Forbidden Forest. She tells Hermione and Harry that they will be staying in the hospital wing until she is satisfied, and tries to reassure Harry that Sirius Black has been caught, and is locked away. She is angry with Fudge and Snape for distressing her patients, and asks them to leave. She is annoyed when Dumbledore enters the ward and insists on speaking to Harry and Hermione alone; she storms off to her office.

Discovered in chapter 13, Mad-Eye Moody[]

Madam Pomfrey uses Bubotuber pus to cure students who are affected by bad acne. She once had to reaffix a student's nose after they tried to curse their pimples off.

Discovered in chapter 20, The First Task[]

Madam Pomfrey tends to the champions in the first-aid tent after they complete the first task. She is unimpressed that the champions had to face dragons and is furious that dangerous creatures keep being brought to the school, reminded of the Dementors the previous year.

Discovered in chapter 26, The Second Task[]

Madam Pomfrey fusses over the champions and their hostages when they exit the lake. She ensures they are wrapped in blankets, and administers Pepper-Up Potion when required. She herds the group back to the castle once the scores for the second task have been read.

Discovered in chapter 36, The Parting of the Ways[]

Madam Pomfrey looks harassed when Dumbledore and Harry enter the hospital wing. She is surrounded by Hermione, Bill, Ron and Mrs Weasley, all of whom want to know where Harry is. She is curious about the big black dog who accompanies Harry and Dumbledore into the hospital wing, unaware that it is actually Sirius Black. She leads Harry to a nearby bed, and encourages him to take a potion for a dreamless sleep.

>Madam Pomfrey stands frozen at the foot of Harry's bed with her hands over her mouth after the argument between Dumbledore and Cornelius Fudge. She is sent by Dumbledore to Professor Moody's office to fetch Winky and take her back to the kitchens after Fudge leaves the hospital wing.
