The shop in the South Side of Diagon Alley

Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC is a shop on the South Side of Diagon Alley of Pottermore.

Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC is, by reputation, the best wand shop for witches and wizards. Thousands of wand boxes pile to the ceiling in this narrow, shabby shop, which is otherwise empty except for a spindly chair. Mr Ollivander, the shop’s proprietor, fits Harry for his wand here.

Obtaining a Wand

Players must visit the shop to complete a quiz, Ollivanders Bespoke Wand Selector, to have their wand choose them before they continue to Hogwarts.

When the quiz is completed, the player receives their wand and is given the information about the wood, core, length, and flexibility of their wand. The price of a wand is 7 Galleons, (which is $70.49 in US Dollars, $74.83 Canadian Dollars and £35 UK Pounds).

After players receive their wand, when they revisit the shop, they are greeted with a message confirming their wand description and links to return to Diagon Alley or go to their Profile page.

Pottermore PlayStation Home

On Pottermore PlayStation Home, Ollivander is not yet open, however according to the in-game message it will be at some point in the future. It is possible the player will be able to get a wand here, however it is unclear if it will need to be paid for with real money.
