Pets can be bought from Eeylops Owl Emporium & Magical Menagerie. Although there are fourteen pets to choose from, only one can be bought (as it says on the shopping list). The following pets are available at the shop:

When trying to buy another pet from Eeylops Owl Emporium & Magical Menagerie when you already have one, you are shown the pet and its description as before, but with the message:
- “Sorry, you can't buy another pet. Only one toad, cat or owl allowed per person.”
Pottermore PlayStation Home[]
On Pottermore PlayStation Home, players can buy pets for real money. The pet will move alongside the player's avatar in the game. All pets which can be bought on the Pottermore Website can also be bought on Pottermore PlayStation Home.

- As of the 8th of May, the least popular pet is the Common Toad. Less than 3000 people have chosen it.
- The most popular pet is the Barn Owl, with over 500,000 owners.
