Susan attends the Apparition lesson in the Great Hall. She gives a screech of pain on her fourth attempt, accidentally splinching herself. She stands, wobbling in her hoop, with her left leg standing five feet away from where she started. She sobs after the four Heads of House reattach her leg, horrified about the experience.
