Attracted no doubt by Malfoy’s shout, Argus Filch came shouldering his way through the crowd. Then he saw Mrs Norris and fell back, clutching his face in horror.
‘All right,’ said Hermione coldly. ‘What we’d need to do is to get inside the Slytherin common room and ask Malfoy a few questions without him realising it’s us.’
‘But that’s impossible,’ Harry said, as Ron laughed.
‘No, it’s not,’ said Hermione. ‘All we’d need would be some Polyjuice Potion.’
